System Specifications

Designed for multi-story residential and commercial applications, our High-Load Flooring System delivers superior structural integrity and minimal deflection. Combining high-strength cold-formed steel joists with advanced acoustic layers, it provides a rigid, quiet, and solid feel underfoot while significantly reducing the building’s overall dead load.

Joist Depth300mm - 400mm (Customizable based on span requirements)
Material G550 High-Tensile Galvanized/Galvalume Steel
Subflooring18mm OSB or High-Density Fiber Cement Board

FLOOR SYSTEM COMPONENTS & LAYERS

High-strength C-section steel floor joists: Web-stiffened for maximum span capabilities and exceptional load distribution.
Structural subflooring: Heavy-duty OSB or fiber cement boards securely fastened to provide a perfectly level and rigid base.
Acoustic and thermal insulation: High-density glass wool or rock wool tightly packed within the floor cavity to prevent airborne sound transmission.
Anti-vibration acoustic pads (Optional): Installed between the steel joists and subflooring to minimize impact noise transfer between levels.

ENGINEERED FOR EXCEPTIONAL LOAD CAPACITY

Engineered using advanced VertexBD software, our floor trusses and joists are precision-calculated to eliminate floor bounce and structural deflection. The lightweight nature of our Light Gauge Steel (LGS) framing drastically reduces the foundation requirements compared to traditional concrete slabs, yet offers impressive spanning capabilities without compromising on stability or safety.

SEAMLESS MEP INTEGRATION & RAPID INSTALLATION

Pre-assembled in our factory or delivered as precisely cut flat-packs, the Halcyon flooring system is designed for lightning-fast on-site assembly. The open-web joist designs easily accommodate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) services, allowing pipes and wiring to run directly through the floor cavity. This eliminates the need for dropped ceilings, maximizes interior room heights, and accelerates your project’s construction timeline.
